Day two, and I am up north into Switzerland - in the Italian speaking canton of Ticino. Current base is Lugano, on the shores of Lake Lugano.

A half hour trek from Bre takes you to Materone, a smallish peak with astounding views of the lake. Not my bike. Unfortunately
Gandrio - from Bre, it is a nice trek down to Gandrio, which almost hangs over the lake
